The classic Sidecar cocktail is a zesty mix of Cognac, Trois Citrus and lemon juice. The origin of this drink is unclear, but it is said to have been invented around the end of World War I. The drink was directly named after the motorcycle attachment that an anonymous American army captain liked to ride in (or drove a motorcycle with a sidecar), who invented the cocktail. Harry’s New York bar in Paris claims origin of the drink.
