This weekend sees the return of one of my favourite events of the London food and drinks calendar: Cocktails in the City!
Following a sell out 2014 event, this year sees the return of a two-day al-fresco festival of cocktails taking place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July .
Set in London’s elegant Bedford Square Gardens, twenty of the best bars in London will showcase their cocktails, pop up style. From the city’s most exclusive establishments (last year saw the Ritz, for example), to our coolest speakeasies (e.g. the Evans and Peel Detective Agency….haven’t heard of it – you should have.) this event has it all. Each compete to win the best cocktail of the weekend – and their tactics range from plying you with drink to flat out flirtation. There’s street food, music…general debauchery….in short – it is a bloody epic party…
