What happens when you mix cocktails, coffee, a restaurant, barbers and a slide? No this isn’t a ‘Why did the chicken cross the road?’ joke, although the answer would probably be to get to this new spot in Wapping. TRADE UNION has just opened its doors to what can only be described as an adult playground, there’s even a florist too!
Situated at 1 Thomas More Square, Wapping, St. Katherine’s docks, and now taking reservations, TRADE UNION has taken coffee from Vagabond Coffee Roasters, male grooming from Drakes of London and flowers from Maua London creating a lifestyle space to enjoy all through the day.
The food and drink on offer has a New York theme, New York sours are even on the menu alongside fresh sourdough pizzas. Space is ample here, making it an ideal spot for those without offices who still need somewhere to fill the void. Wi-Fi and charging points make it the ideal workspace during the day, and the transition to evening is seamless as the bar comes alive and food is delivered from the pass.
Vagabond coffee has three successful shops set up in North London and has joined in the fun here at TRADE UNION. Traditional beard trims and haircuts are available from Drakes of London, in-house male grooming station known for their commitment to excellence. Maua London source their roses from The Elgon Collection in Kenya “who provide top quality roses whilst observing the highest level of social and environmental responsibility.” What has been created here is a new concept of lifestyle space, able to fulfil multiple needs (or wants).
Whether it’s stopping to grab a coffee, grabbing dinner and drinks in the evening or getting a quick trim before a night out, TRADE UNION is an all-round destination and will satisfy any Londoner’s need.
